NTS Events

Events

Throughout the year, NTS hosts a number of events ranging from open houses to seminars, to trainings, and co-sponsored industry workshops. Through these events, our goal is to help educate, inform, and train customers on various topics including: testing (e.g. HALT, Vibration), standards and requirements (RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810), the global market (International Approvals), certification (Lightning, IPC) and many others.

Scroll down to see the upcoming trainings that are planned so far for this year and check back to see what new events have been added. Also, if there is a specific topic that you are interested in learning about, we want to hear it. Send an email to events@nts.com and we will try to make it happen.

Do you need to know how much margin your product has beyond the specification limits? Or if your design is too close to the limit or possibly over-engineered?

Join engineers and technicians from our NTS Chicago facility as they host an all-day, interactive seminar on HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) covering the basics, the benefits and its relationship with your product's reliability. Additionally, they will introduce other available tools designed to prevent infant mortality (e.g. HASS - Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) as well as share with you, answers to some of the most frequently asked questions on product reliability testing.

    This course includes hands-on demonstrations!

The IEEE Central New England EMC Chapter is pleased to present a hands-on seminar on EMC Chamber Design

Since chambers involve a considerable investment, taking the time up front to weigh options for the best design is very cost-effective in the long run.

This presentation will provide background information to consider when determining the optimal chamber design for varied applications and includes such topics as review of EMC standards, general design guidelines, new absorber retrofitting, and troubleshooting tips.

This is a free event and includes a complementary dinner, lab tour, and live demonstration.
